This How-To article will walk you through creating a fully instrumented Smart Part product. This kind of setup is meant for products that need parts added during order entry, or for products that have lots of parts on an order.
Create a new Variable and set its type to Part Search
Under “Other” add a new Part Search Grid component to the Pricing Form
Set the VariableName of the Part Search Grid component to the variable from Step 1
Under “Other” add a new Part Search Builder component to the Pricing Form
Set the VariableName of the Part Search Builder component to the variable from Step 1
Under “Other” add a new Part Filter Grid component to the Pricing Form
Set the VariableName of the Part Filter Grid component to the variable from Step 2
Under “Other” add a new Part Summary component to the Pricing Form
Set the VariableName of the Part Summary component to the variable from Step 3
