When an employee loses their password, productivity is lost, and rather than having to get in touch with tech support, this is an easy way to get that taken care of.
Concept
Employee passwords can be changed by administrators within the office, and not just by Cyrious tech support.
Cautions
There is more to the page we are going to explore than this, for more info; see our wiki for Employee Setup:
Steps
Click Setup from the top toolbars
Employee Setup
Select the employee from the lists to the left
Toward the bottom-right you will see a box labeled: Security Info:
Click on Edit User *This will only work for someone logged in as an administrator*
The first checkbox must be checked for that employee to be able to Log into Control: “Enable User Login”
Next you will see the Employee Username followed by a button to Change UserName/Password
Upon selecting that button, you will be asked to again provide your administrative password
Then it will allow you to change the employee's information.
Select OK and you're done! If this did not solve the problem, there is another box to check that says “Can Login to Control” and offers security level options on the same Edit User Page
