Configuring & Using Surface Boundaries

Surface Boundaries warn your customers about placing designs too close to the edge of the product in the Online Designer. Surface Boundaries can be entered for Art/Text Safety, Cut, Bleed, and/or Crop

Configuring & Using Surface Boundary Presets:

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel > Settings and select Surface Boundary Presets.
  2. Click + Surface Presets.
  3. Enter the Preset Name.
  4. Surface Boundaries can be entered for Art/Text Safety, Cut, Bleed, and/or Crop.
  5. Enter values in inches for the Offset.
  6. Enter the hex code value for the Primary Color of the boundary or use the color selector.
  7. Enter the hex code value for the Secondary Color or use the color selector.
  8. Enter a value for the Dash Length.
  9. Enter a value for the Line Thickness.
  10. Enter a value for the Corner Radius.
  11. When finished, click Save.
  12. Open the product template and select the Template Details tab.
  13. Select the Surface Preset.
  1. Open the product template and select the Template Details tab.
  2. Select Custom from the Surface Preset dropdown.
  3. Surface Boundaries can be entered for Art/Text Safety, Cut, Bleed, and/or Crop.
  4. Select the Boundary Type you wish to set.
  5. Enter values in inches for the Offset.
  6. When finished, click Done.
