Logins currently disabled: SQL Schema Migration in Progress

This error will populate when the user attempts to login to Control. The error itself will prevent any user from logging in using normal login methods.

Note: If a Control Support Technician logs in using Support Credentials this will allow them to log in. Creating a new user with administrator privledges will not be able to successfully log in.

1. Verify with customer when the issue first started and when they were able to last login successfully.

2. If the customer has not restarted the server go ahead and restart the server.

3. Once the SSLIP has started attempt to login using a customers login. Again Support Credentials will allow a technician to connect.

4. If logging in using customer credentials fails then shut down the SSLIP as well as the CHAPI service.

5. Go into the CHAPI folder inside the Control folder and open the CHAPI Configuration file(CHAPI.ServiceHost.exe) by right clicking on it and use Open WIth and Select Notepad.

6. Once the CHAPI config. file is open verify that the chapi baseAddress line is using the proper IP Address. (You can verify this by opening a command prompt and typing ipconfig. It will usually be the ipv4 address.) If the address is not correct in the CHAPI config. file then correct the ip address and save the file.

7. In the customers Internal Company record go to UDF tab and then select the first Authorizations tab below and delete the CHAPI Public Key and save the record. Ensure you state in the notes from saving that you did delete the CHAPI Public Key.

8. Restart the CHAPI service and then the SSLIP. Attempt to login using customers credentials again.

9. If login fails again shut down the SSLIP and CHAPI service and open SQL Management Studio(SSMS) and login using Cyrious credentials.

10. Once you have logged into SSMS right click on the CHAPI_Logging Database and delete it. Repeat this step with the CHAPI database as well.

11. In the Control Folder you will need to transfer a data.config file. If you do not have one reach out to a Senior Technician to have one provided to you.

12. Once there is a data.config file in the Control folder verify that the data within the file is correct. (Right click and open with notepad) Once any and all changes are made save the data.config file.

13. Delete the CHAPI Public Key again(See Step 7) and restart CHAPI service. Once Chapi has finished starting verify in SQL Management Studio that a CHAPI database and CHAPI_Logging database were created.

14. Start the SSLIP and login using customer credentials.

IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING LOGIN ISSUES AT THIS POINT REACH OUT TO THE CRITICAL CHANNEL AS CONTACT A SENIOR TECHNICIAN FOR ASSISTANCE!!

You could leave a comment if you were logged in.
