Production Terminal is a web-based application developed specifically with Production departments in mind. It gives users access to features in Control that are focused only on Production. This softens the learning curve for Production users by giving them only the features they need while staying fully integrated with Control so that project updates performed by either the Production, Sales, or Design departments are seen by the other departments.

Since Production Terminal is based on Microsoft IIS web server technology, it can be viewed from any web browser capable of using Microsoft’s Silverlight media plugin. This means that the only software a client machine needs to access Production Terminal is a web browser and the Silverlight plugin, reducing setup time per client to a few minutes.

Users of Production Terminal can access the following features of Control. Keep in mind that changes made to Order or Line Item information in Production Terminal are reflected in real time on the corresponding Control systems.

  • Clock in/out of the time clock by employee.
  • Track labor time and usage by station, order, line item, or part.
  • View line items in a custom-filtered, sortable table.
  • View a custom set of line item details, such as production notes, a parts list (bill of materials), artwork, company and shipping info, and line item notes and layout information.
  • Change line item stations, the person the line item is assigned to, order stations and statuses, and priorities.
  • Enter exact usage of material, equipment time and labor.
  • Set line item completion percentages or mark the line items as complete.
  • View the work order for the entire order in PDF format.
  • Change login password without direct access to Control.
