Replenishing Part Selection List

Selection lists have the ability to replenish (produce inventory for) a part. When replenishing parts, the option to create parts in-order is also available. The following optinos on selection lists are used for replenishing parts:

This selection list specifies a part being replenished / produced

This option specifies that the parts used in this selection list will be used to replenish inventory. When this option is checked, the Consumption Formula and Consumption Units columns are renamed to Replenish Formula and Replenish Units. The formula is used to calculate the amount of the part that will replenished in the part's inventory.

Show (new non-inventoried part)

In the drop-down on the pricing form during order entry, this item will show and once selected, a part that does not track inventory will be created.

Show (new inventoried part)

In the drop-down on the pricing form during order entry, this item will show and once selected, a part that tracks inventory will be created.

Start by cloning this part when adding new parts

In-Order part creation requires a part template. This template is cloned when a new part is dynamically added.

Replenishment F(x)

This formula computes the amount to restock the inventory.

Replenishment Unit

Produced Inventory Value F(x)

This formula computes the dollar value of the restocked inventory. The default value of this column is “ TotalCost”.

GL Adjustment Account

This column allows the user to specify the GL Adjustment Account used for this the inventory replenishment. This coloumn is required.
