There are two types of imports supported by Cyrious Control:

• text_based_importing is used to import comma or tab delimited information.
• xml_based_importing is used to import product and other data that was exported by Control in its native format.
• control-to-control_customer_imports is used to import customer data from one Control database to another. The new Control database must be completely free of customers.

Control (actually the SSLIP) has a mechanism to automatically import a file when it is placed in a specific folder location. See auto-import_data_feature for more information on this technique.
