Report Viewer could not be located on startup
Issue
When the Report Viewer application is not located in the same folder as the Control executable, the user will receive the following warning when starting Control:
The Cyrious Report Viewer could not be located. This application is required for previewing reports.
Please contact Cyrious technical support for assistance.
When this occurs, all previewing of reports will be disabled throughout Control.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, the Report Viewer application will need to be installed on the server.
The preferred method would be to run the Server Installation. This will ensure that any other missing files will be copied to their proper location.
To resolve the issue manually, you should get a copy of the Report Viewer application (CyrRptViewer.exe) and insert it into the same folder that Control is installed to.
