Setting Product Defaults

In this article, you will set your Product Defaults. In the case of your Default Product, this is the fall back product inside of Control in case no other mapping options are available. In the case of your Default Shipping Product, this is the product used to create the shipping line item for your Control order. The shipping value of the Ecommerce order will be added to this line item so it will display on any Control invoices.

Navigate to Product Default Setup:

  1. In the Admin Panel, click Settings.
  2. Click Product Defaults.
  3. Choose a Default Product Mapping. This product should not be used in any of your Ecommerce product mapping. You want to see this product as a flag that something is not set correctly.
  4. Choose a Default Shipping Product Mapping.
