How To set up a new Company Division

Use the Cyrious Setup Screen to create a new Division

Before you add a new Division you will need to enable Division setup by adding showdivisionsetup=1 in Control_Options.txt, restart Control, then check the box next to “Enable Division Tracking in the General Ledger” in the General settings of Accounting Setup.

  1. Go to the Accounting Setup screen from the Setup menu.
  2. Choose the Divisions folder located in the far left section - Shown in the picture below
  3. Click New - Shown in the picture below
  4. The new division will be auto populated with the same information as the Company division, and can be changed as needed
  5. Ensure you have the Division Name set and click Save - Shown in the picture below
  6. Your Division has been created and will appear in Division drop-down selections and the Explorer selections
