In Control, you can establish commission plans to facilitate the tracking of sales and commission for salespeople. Commission plans can be based on margin or sales price, and can vary based on the number of salespeople that worked on a specific order as well as the pricing plan of the customer. Further options may require a customized report.

Cyrious Control provides you with the flexibility to set up multiple commission plans. You may have as few or as many commission plans as you would like. Additionally, each commission plan can have a different structure. Your options are outlined below.

  • Plan Name The left column will display all commission plans.
  • Show Inactive By default, Control will display all commission plans, including those not currently marked active. To view only currently active commission plans, uncheck this box.
  • Name Enter a name for the commission plan.
  • Active Check this box if you want the commission plan to be active.
  • Based on Price Select this radio button if you want the commission plan to reward your employee with a percentage of total price (price = cost plus markup).
  • Based on Margin Select this radio button if you want the commission plan to reward your employee with a percentage of the margin (margin = price minus cost).
  • Employees in Plan The employees under this commission plan will appear in the box below.

You set an employee's commission plan in employee setup, under Main Menu | Setup | Employee Setup

Pricing Plan A different commission structure can be set up for each pricing plan. To add a new pricing plan, click on the tab. All orders with a pricing plan not specified in the list will use the default commission plan.

No. of Salespeople on Order

If you have Control configured to allow multiple salespeople, then you may enter a commission for each salesperson. The commission rate will vary based on the number of salespeople assigned to the order and their position in the list (first, second, or third). Enter the appropriate commission rates for each scenario and each position. If you do not allow multiple salespeople per order, then enter the single commission rate for this plan.
